Maxwell (のっぽくん, Noppo-kun) is an intelligent hamster who knows many facts. The Ham-Hams go to him for information. A book-smart hamster of higher learning, the Ham-Hams go to Maxwell for knowledge of the world around them.
His exact date of birth is well known among the Ham-Ham community, but the year in which he was born is entirely unknown, even to him. Only his mother still knows, but her identity is, as well, unknown.

Maxwell began his studies in English literature at the ripe age of... well, whatever age he was 8 years ago. He has since become well-versed in English prose and knows many long poems by heart.
His memory is thought to be unmatched, although there are precisely 4 other characters in Paper Shin who have even better memory.
Personality[]
Maxwell is infamously known for not sharing which book he is reading at any given time, and always opts for copies of the book which do not feature a title anywhere. Many enthusiasts enjoy speculating on which book he's gotten his nose buried in at the time. Other than this habit, though, he is quite social with those who share his hobbies, although he usually needs to be approached first. He is held in high regard by his peers, even those of a different species, for his kindness and his well-read tendencies.
